Hello

Thank you for checking out my profile, I am happy you are here. Please read my profile below and if you would like to schedule a session with me, click the link below. Thank you!

A little about me

My name is Sara Cohen, and I am a licensed social worker in the state of Pennsylvania. I have been working in mental health for ten years, primarily with children ages five to seventeen, but have more recently gained experience working with adults as well. I believe every person has a story to tell, but sometimes it can be difficult to do. This is where I like to come in and help others tell their stories through encouragement and empowerment in therapy. Part of telling your story is learning about yourself, and the transformations I have seen with some of my clients have been profound. I received my bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, my master's in social work from Marywood University, and my professional license in 2019. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, and especially enjoy working with teenagers and young adults. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and narrative therapy techniques in my sessions. When I am not working, I enjoy reading crime fiction, watching wrestling, and completing various types of puzzles. I am excited to meet you and to help you tell your story!
