A little about me

My name is August Riti, and I am an associate license Marriage and Family Therapist, currently completing my supervised clinical hours. In the past, I have worked with adolescents, and teenagers, and I am now beginning to work with couples and families. I hold a Graduate Certificate in Systemic Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as a Bachelor’s of Arts in General Psychology, and will soon complete my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Some areas of this work that I enjoy are creating treatment plans for my clients and working from within the many models of systemic therapy. I wake up every morning with an excitement for my work. I enjoy helping people who may be struggling with behavioral and emotional difficulties, and any other challenges they may be having. Therapy is a way of improving the self, dealing with others around us, and improving our lives overall.

I grew up nearby in East Stroudsburg, PA.  I have also lived in New York, where I was able to gain professional experience, and attend college. For fun, I enjoy reading, listening to music, traveling (recently in the American South!), and spending time with friends.
